This place is really great! The food is good, the service is good & the place is clean. My wife & I go there a couple of times a month and we are never disappointed.

Absolutely excellent. Staff is super tentative. When I asked what a certain tea tasted like the manager sent me home with 3 tea bags to try with no charge. The food is amazing. Probably the best sweet and sour chicken I have ever had. Only hope they get more business because they are awesome!

After reading other reviews I decided to order for my family. First of all, the online ordering was a plus, then they called me to ask how spicy I wanted the food, also a plus. We went to pick it up and the restaurant was very clean. They were very polite and asked if it was our first time there, we said it was and she threw in some almond cookies. We got the food home and served it up, and it was ALL delicious! The best was the General Tso's chicken. We also got Kung Pao Chicken, Sweet & Sour Chicken, and Almond Chicken. The Crab Rangoons were AWESOME, and the egg rolls were good. I will DEFINITELY return.

This place is not in the best location to get a lot of traffic, but you should really eat here. The food was fantastic. Tonight I had the hot and sour soup, veg lo mein, and general tso's chicken. All were great! The soup was probably better than any I've had at Chinese restaurants before. Good portion sizes and prices. Highly recommend!

This place doesn't seem super busy when we drive by, but I have no idea why. It is the best Chinese food in the area by far. We try a lot of different places. At the Great China Garden we had the General Tso and Sweet and Sour Chicken along with an egg roll and spring rolls. I'm not usually an egg roll girl but these were awesome .... Reminiscent of China Gate in Ann Arbor. The spring rolls were also delicious. The General Tso's had a good flavor and was actually pretty spicy ... Which is how we asked for it. Usually it is never spicy enough at other Chinese restaurants. The sweet and Sour chicken was delicious. The breading on the chicken was so good and pretty crispy. I don't usually leave reviews on here but had to after trying this place. I highly recommend it.

The food was really really good and so was the service. Besides the taste of the food being great, there was plenty of it. This is my new favorite Chinese food in town

We received a "Grand Opening" advertisement in the mail and decided to give the place a try. The staff was friendly - we were greeted and seated promptly on arrival. The restaurant has a nice feel and is very clean and "new" looking. We ordered an appetizer (crab rangoon) and egg drop soup. Both were served timely and were delicious. Our entrees also arrived at just the right time and the food was hot and fresh. We ordered Sweet/Sour Shrimp and Chicken w/Broccoli. Good portions and tasty - we had leftovers to take home. Great value for the price. We will definitely will be returning!

This place was a welcome sight. I moved to Westland from NW Livonia and when I walked in I saw the familiar faces of the staff of Pan Pan I'm so used to it was nice. The food was consistent as usual and service was fast and courteous. They have the best hot & sour soup around. I remember having China Gate when I lived down this way 15 years ago before but we'll have to see which one I prefer these days.

My fiancé doesn't mind Chinese food, but he also never craves it or asks for it. I, on the other hand, love it... And could eat it once a week. However, it can be tricky. There are so many places that just aren't good, it's tough to try new places once you've found one that you actually like. This will probably be my new go to Chinese restaurant. While fiancé was out of town on business last week, I decided it would be a good time to get some carryout and eat too much food while binge watching some mindless reality TV! We recently moved to a new house, and I had already tried one Chinese place that was just absolutely terrible, so I had to try another one. Used yelp to find this place close by with a decent rating, and was not disappointed. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken. Which is basically what I always order when trying a new place because it's hard to mess up. If you can't make good sweet and sour chicken, I'm not interested in trying anything else. The chicken was really good, the sauce was really good, and they gave you a LOT. The egg roll was good, not the best I ever had, but not the worst either. I strongly dislike when places use Star Anise in their egg rolls (you know, that spice that tastes like black licorice), and these guys don't, so it's an automatic win. The rice was standard too, no complaints there. They give you a good amount of plum sauce which is good because I love to drown my rice and egg roll in it. I ALSO ordered crab Rangoon, it was excellent! You get six big pieces. I only ate 2, and when fiancé came home 2 days later he ate the rest, cold, and they were still good (crab Rangoon is the one thing he does love about Chinese food!). Overall I'm highly satisfied and will definitely be ordering from here again next time!!

Well, went back for another round of the General Tso's as my favorite carry out Chinese place, China Gate was closed. I ordered it extra spicy once again, and everything was hot and fresh, but the sauce made the chicken taste more like BBQ chicken than General Tso's. It was a bummer actually. I may try them again if we go and dine in & try another dish, but as far as carry out goes, I'm done... :(

Sometimes, the food is good. Sometimes, the food is not so good. It is always palatable, however. The staff is kind and attentive. Once we even got to meet the children of one of the staff members, as they ran around the restaurant as if it was a playground.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
